Anna Gunn
Anna Gunn has been an actor for more than twenty years. Her most well-known role is her part as Skyler White on the AMC Drama series Breaking Bad for which she won the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting actress in a Drama Series in 2013 and 2014. She also appeared in Jean Ward in The Practice, and Martha Bullock in Deadwood. Anna Gunn, born 1968 in Sante Fe New Mexico fell in Love with Acting in preparation for her first performance before moving to Ohio. She studied theatre at Northwestern University, and spent an entire semester at the British American Drama Academy. Anna worked in Chicago's theatre for several years, before taking on film and television role. In 1992, Anna got her first major role as Arden in 29 episodes of Down the Shore. Anna continued appearing in films as well as TV shows such Seinfeld, NYPD Blue and others up to the late 1990's. Anna was later cast in The Practice as Jean Ward. Martha Bullock played two full seasons of Deadwood, which was filmed in the mid 2000's. Skyler was the character she played in her Breaking Bad role from 2008. Sully in addition to Deadwood was a different film that she starred in. Gunn has also appeared on stage in David Schwimmer's production Sex With Strangers. In addition, she played in Numbered Day, an audio-based podcast that consists of four audio plays. Breaking Bad often revolves around Walter White and Skyler's relationship. The drama's tension and final end reflect the final years of Walter White.
